Meet the Owner!

Ebony Penn, a proud Tampa native, has been passionate about dance since the age of five. Her journey as a performer took off at 17 when she joined the Blake High School Marching Band Dance Team in 2011. From there, she graced numerous stages, performing at a variety of events, including backup dancing for local artists, annual fashion shows, community events, and major concerts. One of her most notable performances was at Wildsplash in 2017, sharing a stage with celebrity artists such as Migos, Trey Songz, Fat Joe, Kodak Black, Russ, and more.

In 2016, Ebony transitioned into dance instruction and musical theatre directing, using her talents to inspire and uplift. She has taught diverse dance styles—including Hip-Hop, Afro-Beats, Lyrical, Street Tap, Theatre, and Partner Dancing—to at-risk youth as a means of self-expression. Her work extended to choreographing birthday parties, directing children’s musicals, and even teaching students with language barriers at a bilingual K-8 school in Buffalo, New York.

Beyond dance, Ebony’s journey took a profound turn in the summer of 2023 when she fully found Jesus Christ. This transformation has deepened her mission, guiding her to use the arts as a tool for empowerment, healing, and faith-building.

Today, Ebony is the founder and owner of ConfiDance Inside-Out LLC, a business dedicated to building confidence and social skills through the power of drama and dance. Her passion remains rooted in inspiring others, not just through movement but through purpose, faith, and self-discovery.
